Born in Yerevan, Mukuchyan and her family moved to Hamburg, Germany, in 1992 following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. She spent the majority of her formative years in Germany, attending the Sankt-Ansgar-Schule. In 2009, she decided to reconnect with her roots and returned to her homeland to study jazz vocals at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan. She often describes her dual identity as having a German mindset while possessing a deeply Armenian, passionate heart.
